    Default One Healthy Thing - Monday

    Hi all! Yesterday went so well with us doing healthy things, I thought I'd make it a daily thread.

    So, what healthy thing are you going to do for yourself today???

    I'll start with the fact that I am going to go for a walk outside today, as long as it doesn't rain. If it does, then I'll do the treadmill.

    I plan on walking and playing tennis (badly, but still). Food may be another issue.

    Today I have the munchies, so I am going to really watch my food intake. ......and drink at least 100oz water.

    I took a nap today! Other than that...I really haven't done anything healthy! Gym is closed, so didn't work out!

    It is still raining on and off here-third day ina row and I get very down when this happens soooooo, I am making myself move to counteract this. Includes floor scrubbing, and drape washing. For me this qualifies as healthy-to not allow myself to sink in the the pit just cause it's cloudy all day. Glad this will be a daily thread. Good way to remind me

    Naps are a healthy thing to do for yourself. If your body didn't need it, it wouldn't fall asleep!

    Also, cleaning to get yourself moving is a GREAT thing!

    I worked 8 hours than came home and have done 3 loads of laundry and 1 load of dishes. Now that the kids have had their showers I will start the dishes. So thats all the exersize I am doing today.

    I slepted in this morning and ate well today. No exercise but tomorrow is a new day. Painted my toes and taking time for me makes me feel healthy. Mentally that is. I went through cookbooks to find healthy low cal. summer meals.
