Default Blood sugar checks at night!!!

It is like having a newborn again.
Her blood sugars have been high in the evening and the Dr. wants to know if it is staying high for most of the night..... hence the checks... at 11:00 Pm and 3:00 am starting tonight. i hope it is only for a few days.

The doctor wants to make sure it is staying high before cutting back carbs or adding insulin and risking a low at night... which is dangerous...

I hate this. My poor little girl....

It's hard enough for an adult but on a child it's harder. Hope things work out quickly for the good. We're here for you.

Yes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

I'm sorry, Holly. That must be so hard on you.
