DSS has rash and cough

My 19 month old son has a rash (though it's not like an alergic rash - it's not bumpy, can't feel it) and he was coughing quite a lot overnight and a little today. He had Dtp and Hep A shot last Tuesday, so I don't think it is a reaction to that?

Does anyone know what it might be? The rash is mostly on his back and goes up his neck to the back of his head. Looks like he is also getting a little on his forehead and diaper area. Should I be concerned? He doesn't have a fever. I took his temp and it was 96.6. I thought that was low, so I took mine - 96.9 . LOL. He does have a cough but it seems mostly at night. he acts fine too.

Is there anything I should be watching out for? I don't want to take him to the docs unless this is something serious. Can anyone give me some advice? It woul dbe greatly appreciated.

Take him in. Could be a whole bunch of things-allergy,measles,fifths disease,anything. When there that little its always better to spend the money. Please keep us posted. Better to look foolish than devistated.
