    Default Peanut Allergy

Shoot...just got back from the allergist. Matty has a peanut allergy and needs an epi-pen. We figured he had an allergy, but didn't think it was that extreme. However, he reacted BIG TIME to the test. Poor puppy. I knew the kids inherited my sensitivities...I had just hoped we could go ahead and skip food allergies and epi-pens.

I read about the epi pen in your FB post I'm so sorry you all have to go through this. Food allergies are no fun at all.

Well, at least they have epi-pens now. He wouldn't have been able to be at school when we were little. My DH needs one for bees when we go camping.

You make a good point, FW...I always feel so lucky to have been born when we were. I'd have never survived, back in the day between my asthma and being legally blind in one eye. I'd have been stuck in my cabin. Ick.

An epi pen is something you stick yourself with when you come in contact with something that you are extremely allergic to
