    Default Well It's been

    a fun filled last 5 days........ I went to the Dr for an infwctd toe really nasty. They throught it was under the big toenail. The Dr gave me a script for Clindamycin....super strong antibiotic. Well I toook a whole 2 pills broke out into a terrible rash couldn't get out of bed. about 2pm I made it to the dinning room and told my ddil to call 911. They had to rush me to the hospital. My heart rate was 190and my breathing was really bad. I knew it could cause a rash but I also had blisters with yellow pus coming out. I spent 5 days in the surgical ward not knowing if they were going to operate on my heart. All because of 2 little pills. I really scared my kids and me. I'm still not feeling to good but its good to be home......I'm very week they did get my heart rate down but my blood surgars are super high and my breathing isn't to good. I hope never to have to go thru something like this again in the mean time I'm an emotional rollercoster which I don't like........ I'm am glad to be back here reading everything a little at a time since I have to lay down alot

    I'm using a sulpher cream on it right now..........the red like is starting to look pink it doesn't hurt. I also see the Dr tomorrow........... I look like a pin curshin.....lol still feel really weak

    Fernykins! What a horrible thing to go through..........sorry for the mess.

    Hope you are much better soon.......glad you are able to be back some at the moment.

    so.........how IS the toe?.......is it better?

    Sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time with your health. Prayers are being sent your way and that everything gets cleared up and back to being chipper. Take care and get a lot of rest..

    WOW Sooo glad you are out of the hospital and on your way to recovering. That does sound very scary!!!

    Wow, Fern! You sure endured a lot. I sure am glad you were able to ask someone to call 911 for you. That had to be a scary moment for you and your family. I hope your toe is better too!

    You know I did evrything right went to the Dr got the meds started taking them. My body just can't handle the mess. I did scare eveyone. My one son was going to get on thee freeway and drive like a bat of of hades until my sister talked to him. She stayed there until they had me stable and in a room. He was ok with that so he spent all the next day with me. My youngest was in Newport RI for school and he theought everybody was sugar coating the problem. I was luck my ddil was there she did not panick. It did scare my grandson He has austim and his mother didn't think it would effect him I knew better..........My toe looks good the Dr I saw him today was surprised........
