My best friend

My best friend and I have been best friends for over 35 years. We don't keep in touch as often as we should but we are always there for each other when things go wrong. This poor girl lost her 20 year old son last April in an auto accident. She had already lost a little girl (2 years old) several years ago. Now she was diagnosed with MS in June. I went to see her while I was home last week. She's already in a wheel chair or using a walker to walk. Does anyone here have experience with MS? I would love to help her find a really good support group. I told her to go back to church. She's a Christian but hasn't been for awhile.

When I was looking for an Alzheimer's support group, I checked the website for the local hospital. Sure enough I found a group that met at the hospital branch close to my house. Many support groups list in the little local newspaper in my area also.

You and/or your friend could check into the local MS chapter in her area. I am sure they would have lots of information and resources.
