Recumbent Bike?
Anyone own a recumbent bike? I used to have one years ago, and someone broke it

However, Dave bought a new one for me yesterday and picked it up today. He's going to assemble it tomorrow. I'm so excited :woohoo:
Anyone have one? Do you have a particular routine?

Your husband will get as good a workout assembling it as you will riding it. I use ours when my knees are bothering me. It is much less impact than the treadmill. I don't really have a workout. I usually just make sure I warm up beforehand and cool down after.

I love mine as it is kind to my knees and hips. No regular routine, but if you find one you like, please share it so I can be more effective in using my bike!! Keep us informed!!

I have one & like it. No real routine, I just keep track of my miles & minutes. I like to sit back & read. I don't go any slower than 15mph tho. Gotta keep the heart rate up.

I read when I'm on mine too, but was embarrased to mention it!!

I read on mine too, and I even considered knitting on it earlier too...but I'm not sure I could do both at the same time.

I had one many moons ago but I didn't feel like I got a good workout. I think I was just in love with my treadmill.
But heck yeah, reading and knitting would be great use of time.
