Ok he is *not* genetically the same as us. He's similar, sure - but over 2 million years we have cross breeding of homo-sapien with the Neanderthals, giving gene patterns that appear in about 75% of the human population, but not all. Every generation has minor genetic changes.
He has the same foundation - but compared to each other, his genes make up the foundation alone. Ours built on that foundation and added multiple floors.
NOT that the video doesn't make good points - but...they're way over simplified. If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

OHMIGOD WHAT WAS THAT FISH THING? It looked like a sewage plant!
I would go for this.
My anthropology teacher used to say that agriculture has been one of the greatest disasters in human history.
I've been promising myself for years to go dairy and grain free. We're doing it in baby steps. Milk is probably going to go when my husband goes on deployment again.
I'm with you on the diet complaint, Jessica. I try to do Weight Watchers on occasion and after about 2 days I start to obsess over what I can't have and what a pain it will be to keep tracking everything while I lose the weight. I typically go off track when I start thinking about the possibility of having to keep counting calories for the rest of my life and that terrifies me. It's a silly complaint but that feeling of terror followed by an act of rebellion (ie a pan of brownies) pretty much ends every diet I've ever been on.
I'd like to know how it goes for you if you decide to do it.~Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.~

What she says in the video is that the caveman of 2M yrs ago is genetically the same as us. That's simply not true. Over the course of 2 M years we've cross-bred with the Neanderthals, and we've seen genetic changes outside of those introduced by the cross breeding. Genetic changes happen *every* generation - little ones like how we grow less and less hair and get taller and taller, and who knows what else has changed that we haven't identified yet.
Our bodies adapt and our genes carry those adaptations forward - so while yeah, 10k isn't a lot of time to adjust to the new food sources we've created, we are starting to adapt to those as well.
Like I said - she makes some good points -but her conclusions do not mesh with the full set of known facts, and thus cannot be relied upon.If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
