Wii fit Plus - 2 thumbs up
Has anyone had the opportunity to try this game?
I have had the Wii fit a year. Today I picked up the plus for it.
OMG I was killing myself laughing! The games are a riot.
They have a multi player version, after each game, it shows the Mii and the next player clicks their mii and the next turn starts.
There is a driving range game. Dh is TICKED. He is the only golfer in the house, I have never ever played golf, and I am the one that can hit the green..lol. Maybe I should take it up? Not.
They have some of the old games, but they are modified, more challenging.
TOday I was doing Circus juggling. On a ball... I was in tears. You have to balance to stay in the center of the ring on a big ball, and people through a ball, using the Wii mote and the numchuk, you juggle. THe kids were laughing at me. Saying that I wasn't doing good...then they tried... old mom was doing pretty darn good.
I didn't look into the other feature yet, but there is a training program, and calorie counter or something. More detailed than the other.
Today the kids and I just played the games. I feel like such a fool, but when I can do better than my little techies...momma still got game!
FOr $25, I do recommend it as a great addition to the Wii. We like the games that we can have some friendly competition, it keeps us motivated to do it, and momma stays a little more fit competiting with 'Big Daddy'..lol.
Rent it or borrow from library, if you aren't sure, but for us it is a riot.

My g/f actually got the Wii for me as a b-day gift and I got the Fit with the Balance Board. Although we can't use it as much as we'd like (we're on the top floor of a building with thin walls and floors) we do enjoy it. One of my favs is Rabbid TV. It's very silly and fun.
I'm waiting until we move to Los Angeles before we really go whole hog on it. One of the things I want to do is either rent a house or ground floor apt so I can play the Wii more. It's lots of fun and the Wii Fit is great exercise.

Mahalo for this great idea - love to laugh and need to do more - especially if I am laughing at myself

I didn't know there was a Wii fit plus! I'll have to ask dh to buy if for Christmas. I love all the games on the fit board besides Jillan Micheal's (it bites and is boring!)

OH, there is a calorie counter(estimated) based on each activity.
I'll be snooping more for sure on it.
Yesterday I went on just to try out a game. 45 minutes later.... so it is easy to do!
And I still have a better swing than dh in golf..lol
I'll take note of the games in it. There are new yoga and strength training in it too.

I have Wii Fit and Wii Active. Can anyone tell me what the fitness level is of Wii Fit plus. Is it more advanced than the Active? If it is, then I will buy it. If not, then I won't. Thanks for letting me know!

Do not have the wii, but the cvs knock-off version. It really does get you up and moving. I can't believe how annoyed I get that the computer is beating me. lol

Thanks for the post........have been wondering about all things about this.
Have been hesitant on buying one but will investigate it more. I wanted it for the excersize it gives you.......and being 'tech' challenged' I was wondering if it would be for me.

Mango, my guess is going to be that it is the same fitness level as the Wii Fit, just different activities. The Wii Active (which we also have) is definitely more advanced with regards to activities and fat burning.
I have both, and although I was really into the Wii Active after I bought it, the truth is, I enjoy the Wii Fit more and get more use out of it.My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

I find the new games on the Wii Fit plus alot more challenging. The obstacle course gets me sweating in no time. I haven't explored it all, but the new games are fabulous
