    Default I don't understand how....

    somedays I see my body as acceptable and even like what I see in some clothes. Then I put on the same jeans that I LOVE myself in and just see rolls and lumps and "pouches"!! How can the preception differ so much from day to day?!?!? Even though I know my weight has NOT gone up!! I hate this!

    Our negative perceptions of ourselves are often much worse than the way we actually look to others. I can go into a dressing room and the mirrors in there make me feel I'm built like a tank even though I may have been feeling perfectly fine about myself just moments before stepping in there. Try not to be too hard on yourself.

    It differs day to day b/c of this one fact: when did you wash your jeans last? Have they stretched out so YOU feel that its more flattering and hiding your perceived rolls etc? My friend did this - she's nuts - she'd wear her jeans after washing them to bed so by the next am, they'd be stretched out and look 'more' flattering - to her. She looked fine either way and um...the same.

    You my not feel you look your best today but are beautiful to others around you. Remember that.
