    Default I am so sick

    I have been vomiting and well diahria for almost 8 hours in 20 min interviles. I am so sick. I was finally able to keep some water down. But I am so thirsty it is hard not to just gulp the water down. I hate the norwalk virus. grrrrrrrrr

    Yeow! Best keep the liquids going in though.

    Try some 7-up or Sprite is you have it. Even some jello in some hot water.

    I just got over this bug. Sucking on ice chips helped with the thirst.

    I hope you get better soon. The liquid jello helps the diarrhea and it hydrates you. A nice soothing tea helps to. Our doctor recommends the BRAT diet for stomach bugs. BRAT = bread, rice, applesauce and tea. It helps settle the stomach. Get better soon.

    You poor girl! That's such an awful bug to put up with. Small sips of room temp ginger ale seem to help. Just make sure it's not the artificial ginger flavored brands. Also, when I was little, my mom gave us coke syrup that she'd get from a diner. I saw it recently in a bottle in Walgreens. You'll probably have to ask for it, but it always did the trick. I'll be getting some the next time I need it in the house for sure.

    flat gingerale helps ease the tummy also. settles it.
