Had my Sinus Surgery Today
It went well, I guess.
She reconstructed my sinuses and un-deviated my septum.
It hurts, but I'm doing well and am looking forward to no more sinus infections post recovery!

Palooka, the sinus part was endoscopic. She had to take out parts of my sinus tract, as they were misshapen and I couldn't ever drain enough to rid myself of the infections. She also removed part of the turbinettes, although I can't really speak intelligently about what that means.

To fix the septum (which was deviated to such an extent, on both ends, that it was also causing blockage) she did have to cut into the middle piece of my nose (the name escapes me right now), and so that is what will make the recovery longer.
However, as far as pretty major surgery goes...not too bad.
Nichole, I started with Battlestar Galactia, Firefly, and Burn Notice. I used to watch the Shield and enjoyed it, but with all the monkeys, I figured I'd better stick to something that won't leave me scrambling for the remote every time one walks into the room.

Hoping for your speedy recovery. I'll be having mine done this summer if all goes as planned. I can't wait to breath out of my nose and to be able to smell again after 3 years.

Miss Thrifty, she wants me out of school for 2 weeks. I'm going to try for just one. My splints and stitches for the septum don't come out until this Thursday.
