I loss about 40 lbs then gained some back. Now I need to lose the last ten. I have to stay away from processed foods, bread, and cheese. If I do that especially the processed foods I don't eat as much. I also walk a lot each day. I was walking about 4 miles a day. Now I am doing about 8 miles a day. I am only doing the 8 miles a day until the hot weather sets in. Then I will go back to 4. Sounds like a lot of exercise, but seriously, if I did not do this I would be getting very little exercise a day.
Other than feeling better and fitting in clothes. I also needed to lose the weight because of my cholesterol. I am eating much more fruits and vegetables with lean meats or protein.
I think after I lose the weight, my next goal will be to maintain the weight.

Wow, eight miles is impressive! Do you do the eight miles straight or break it up in the day and how long does it take you?
Four is still great!
