Michelle's Weigh-In Thread
I am starting Day 7 of the SBD, but I weighed in last Monday, so I'm going to stay consistent with that and weigh-in on Mondays.
I lost exactly 5 lbs! Even more exciting for me is that I've been sugar-free that whole time too. :woohoo:

Wow!
Congrats, Michelle! You're doing great! The SB diet worked for my SIL and sister. My sister changed it up a bit quite a few weeks into the diet when she found that her energy declined dramatically, but in the end she lost over 40 lbs and maintained her new weight until she got pregnant again. That's a fantastic start you have!
An obstacle is what comes up when you lose sight of your goal.

Great loss Michelle!! Talk about a motivator!! Congrats!!

Congrats!! I think the SBD diet is pretty sound plus I love that they cater to Vegetarians, unlike a lot of low carb diets.

That's great Michelle!!! You are doing awesome!! Don't you feel good? I totally do and I'm hoping to stay off of sugar forever. I just can't handle it in my system anymore. (although, I'm still dreaming about it!!!)
I really love SB right now. This is the first time I have tried it and it really is easy for my husband and I to follow.
I'm starting Day 9 and I am down 6 pounds. It really made a difference once I controlled the calories from sweets.

WTG Tami

I stayed off of sugar 12 days before having a hot chocolate at a restaurant (because they didn't have nondairy creamer for my coffee). Then yesterday (my bday and Mother's Day), I did not have any cake, but I had 1/2 a cruller at my parents' brunch as well as a glass of OJ. I moved into Phase 2 yesterday, knowing that I would have better breakfast options (at my parents' house) if I could bring a fruit salad. So I had a bit of that too. Also had a bit of bread crumbs on my broiled fish.
However, at the end of Phase 1 of the diet, I am thrilled to report that I have lost 6.8 lbs.
I am now in Phase 2, and it will be tricky because I do love my fruit
This morning's recommended breakfast on SB's website is oatmeal. Be still my heart
I am so tired of eggs! LOL
How are you all doing?

Michelle - my sister said the same thing...shes tired of eggs, bacon, low fat string cheese and almonds. But now that shes's onto phase 3 - maintenance? - she's ok with eating those things again.
The one thing she noted was how sweet an orange tastes and how awesome it was after not being able to eat fruit. Do you find the same thing?2012: The Year Of The Purge!
