    Question Aloe Vera Juice

The health benefits of aloe vera taken internally include: improved circulation, regulation of blood pressure, promotes healing of bones and joints, strengthens the immune system, defends the body against bacteria, heals internal tissue damage, heals ulcers, improves and even eliminates constipation, blood sugar regulation, and reduces itchiness in psoriasis helping it to heal.
Indications that you should avoid aloe vera are if you are pregnant or breast feeding, have kidney or heart disease, or are allergic to garlic or onions. It is also inadvisable to give aloe vera juice to children as they can experience toxic reactions.
Has anyone here tried this? I bought a bottle last night out of curiosity and decided to look it up. I wanted unsweetened version but the stores only sell the sweetened version. It was a bit too sweet for my liking but I could still taste the aloe. I've read online its very very bitter if unsweetened.

Having said that, its not meant to be a cure-all otherwise we'd all be drinking this stuff like water!

Never had the juice - but if the smell of the gel inside the plant is any indication - phew - it stinks!! However, it is the best remedy for burns and a whole lot of other stuff. We have a huge aloe plant in our backyard - most local homes do.

Good luck and let us know how it works.

I drink a flavored aloe drink called Aloe Vera King, it comes in a lot of flavors, my fav being pomegranate. It is made with mineral water, organic aloe vera, organic sugar cane, & flavoring. It has small chunks of aloe, which I find very cool & refreshing. DH & I both love them.

I've always wondered about aloe vera juice. I mean I have seen it in flavours as well but wanted to try to plain one. Puro brand I think it was, from Korea. I bought some of this Lakewood Juices while out today. I heard its very bitter but no sugar/sweeteners whatsoever.

Did he drink the juice or buy the leaves at the groc store and boil them? Oddly enough, I recall seeing aloe leaves in grocery stores next to the apples while I was in the US.
