    Default Scleroderma

Is anyone out here kiving with Scleroderma or know of anyone who is living with this disease? My dd was diagnosed in September of 09 with this. I have done all sorts of research on it, but I would love to talk to people who have this.

Rissi, how is your DD doing? What sort of treatment is she receiving?

My cousin (in-law)'s sister had scleroderma - it seems that it took a while to get the correct diagnosis.

Please keep us updated as to what you find out and how your daughter is doing.

    Hi everyone,
DD is doing fine. It not affect her internal organs yet. Good sign!!
She does have spots appearing on here. Theree of them are old enough that they have finally softened up and have left ugly purple deep scars.
She also has Rheumatoid Arthristis and it is affecting her hands. She is having to take medication for this daily. On top of that she has Raynauds and her poor little hand stay ice cold. The medicaition that they give for that is blood pressure medicine and they do not want to put her on that sine her bp is ok. So she take a lose dose aspirin with her other medicine.

Just went to the doctor for her yearly physical and her oxygen level is still at 100%, which is great. As long as it stays there and she has no problems with her GI we are in great shape.
