Thread: How do you apply eyeliner?

I was wondering how you apply eyeliner and do you use a pencil or liquid?
I use a pencil and do a light line under my eyes only. I have tried liquid but don't have a steady enough hand to get it applied and looking nice.

I do strictly a light line under and the upper corner on the outside gets a smudge. I am too pale to do any liquid or anything too heavy without looking trampy

I do a light line under my eye and on my upper lid I do a smudge of eyeliner but I only do this in the evening if I'm going out.

I line it right where the eyelashes grow out (well as close to it as I can) on both the top and bottom of my eye's. Lately I have started making both the lines connect in a 'v' to give me an almond shape to my eyes..
Today I experimented, and drew the top line up a bit in curl to follow the shading of where my eyeshadow ended.
The liner I like to use is Revlon colorstay. It's easy to apply, i guess it's like a pencil, but it's in a tube like lipstick would be, and you twist it when you need more.
I used liquid liner before and it was just too hard to get it even with that. Pencil liners are just too light for what I need, and also harder to apply than my revlon colorstay stuff.

I use light brown eyeliner and do a very thin and light line as close to my lash line as I can get. I don't put any on top lid because my eyes would look squinty and I can never make it look right. I can't use liquid either. I'd look like a racoon.

No liquid for me either, I always muck it up. I use Avon's Glimmersticks and really like them.

I use dark brown liquid liner on my upper lids and underneath from the outer edge almost to the middle of my bottom lid. I have a moderately light skin tone, but I use earthy brown tones for my eyes so it looks good.
Interesting question!

I use a pencil, and do the upper part of my eyelid only. I look funny with it on the bottom-probably because I do it wrong. lol
