    DH has it, and between that and a back injury he suffered in a previous job he had surgery for it almost 3 years ago. The surgery was successful and he feels much better.
    “When you get to the end of all the light you know
    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
    faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
    you will be given something solid to stand on,
    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily
    coming to an end;
    bribery and corruption are common; children no
    longer obey their parents;
    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”

    My mother has it. She also had surgery on her back. It took her a while, but she's slowly getting back to her old self. I've been told it's genetic, so I'm just waiting for the day I start exhibiting symptoms. I'd be opting for the surgery as well.

    My grandmother had this one and she died 3 years ago but don't worry too much, her doctor said that the spinal canal begins to narrow and this made her spinal cord a bit smaller.

    Yeah my mom had to do the exercises too. It took her a long time, but now she's able to walk pretty far as a result. She sounds a whole lot better than she used to, as well. She has issues with lifting and such, but she figures it's better than before she had the surgery.

    Here's a good link about spinal stenosis for ya:

    I have spinal stenosis along with some other spinal problems. The injections in the spine only worked one out of the 3 times I had it done. i personally would not recommend them. They are very painful with low odds of success. Everyone eventually gets spinal stenosis if they live long enough, it is a naturally occuring condition from just living. That being said, it can occur much earlier than for others (I was only 30 when I was diagnosed). One thing that has helped me is the drug Neurontin which helps calm inflamed nerve endings that are causing the fiery feeling down your legs. Good luck with your research, and keep us updated!
