Please does anyone have any advise. I can't afford to go to a dermatologis(no insurance). I thought about taking herbal remedies but I don't even know where to start. Any advice would be great. Its getting close to Halloween so I could sport a mask for a while.lol
I have dealt w/adult acne all my life. As crazy as it sounds, I wash my face (maybe) 3 x per week & hardly ever wear make up anymore... I have the occasional break out but I've noticed that the less I wear makeup (& the less I wash my face ~ I know go figure) the less issues I have w/acne. It's worth a try for you 2! Also I eat as healthy as I can but by no means am I a health nut ~ love my sugar! Also ~ drink more water.. it helps to purify your "system" hope that helps!

I don't know what would help you, but I feel your pain. I didn't have much acne as a teenager fortunately (just a pimple occasionally during my period), but now I get them more often on my face and it's started on my back...ugh! Makes me feel gross! I bought some stuff by Clean and Clear just last night to wash my back with twice a day to see if it helps. I used to have a pretty back, but now it's getting acne scars...

Any every Neutrogena product I have tried has turned my skin to sand paper :-(
It may not work for everyone but I always notice a BIG difference when I cut that stuff out of my diet. It could just be a coincidence, but that's just what works for me.

Sounds crazy, but I read somewhere that retinol, which is used as an anti-aging product, was originally developed for acne - so even though I don't have "deep wrinkles" I find that this retinol cream helps a lot. It's like $20, but it last about 2 months.
I love the Burt's Bees. I use the acne face wash as well but I water it down about 3:1 water to soap and put it in a foaming face wash container and it works wonders.

my skin has gone to @*$#* since I first got pregnant and has gotten a little better since I'm not breastfeeding anymore
    buuuut
what works for me is the st ives apricot scrub
and also doing what I call my "lemonade" treatment a few times a week
it's just lemon juice on a cotton ball sprinkle sugar on top and rub it all over a CLEAN, damp face it feels AMAZING, and if you get any in your mouth it's pretty yummy too!
I find it really helps my skin and helps to lighten areas of scarring too
