You people. Now I want Twinkies, Ding-Dongs and buttered popcorn. And I just ate lunch!

I didn't find this guy's findings too surprising. Isn't weight-loss-surgery based on the same premise? If one is forced to eat less, one will lose weight? I've known people who had WLS and didn't change what they ate, just how much. And they lost a whole bunch of weight.

But, yeah, I'd get pretty sick if I ate mostly Twinkies even for just one day.

My diet is mostly high carb, just not refined . I eat about every two to three hours and take in about 2000 calories daily. I exercise and have my metabolism stoked. I find I can eat more calories that way, but I don't waste calories on Twinkies or Doritos. I wouldn't have as much food volume.I don't like all the fatty sugary foods but I could probably keep my weight down by eating smaller amounts of the fattier foods because I think a calorie is a calorie. But I do pay attention to how my body uses the calories. Plus I don't want cavities.
