Ugh, I have the flu again!
Just got rid of some bug about 6 weeks ago. Sheesh!
Last night about midnight, my temp was 103.4. I was shaking so hard with chills, even all bundled up! Aspirin took it down. But it's still running 102 today.
My immune response sucks! I may have to do that flu shot next year. I feel like crap.
I hope DH doesn't get this. He has enough going on.______

Oh Boy Cheryl, you poor girl.
May I suggest hot toddies? Drink a few and bundle up to sweat it out. If it does not sweat out of your system at least you'll be intoxicated enough to rest.

Definitely get the flu shot. We get ours at the Minute Clinic at CVS. They do the paperwork and insurance pays.
I never got the flu shot until one year recently when I had the flu and fever so bad I started to hallucinate. Never again. No spend days 2012 93/365

WOW - that is just plain nasty!! Have noticed here that once people get it the first time, they are more likely to get sick again. Like Polly's recipes. Take care of yourself - sending prayers, hugs and aloha to you both.

Wow don't you take any vits & or suppliments. I haven't had the flu in yrs. I never get the shot either. I just take Vit D & C and multivitamin daily that keeps me healthy. Maybe you should take some Vit D to prevent the flu.

Good info.
If you keep getting sick, there is something else going on. Everyone is exposed to stuff constantly.
In addition to the supplements, make sure you are doing your basic hand washing. Don't touch your eyes, nose, mouth or ears (yes, ears! They say germs can enter there too). Use the neti to clean out nasal passages and clean ears with a little hydrogen peroxide on a cloth.

FernYes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.
