    Default Running for the halibut

If anyone's following the barefoot kith, you'd know that I'm running barefoot...sort of to get over the hump/slump/plateau in loosing weight. Just did about 4 miles at a 10 minute pace. Feel pretty good about that. I've only been (seriously) running for a couple months.

Anyone else got a story, however short?

    How's your diet look?

IMO 80% of success with weight loss is in regards to diet

Not too bad. I could stand to cut back a little on the simple carbs. Most of my carbs come from whole wheat. I don't eat much meat. My job involves sitting too much so getting out and moving my bod around is good for me. BTW, I'm a 65yo male in pretty good health. At least so far - the running hasn't killed me yet

Great job at a 10 minute mile. I run now a 12 minute mile.

Great to hear! Yeah working at a desk, it's crucial to be active outside of work

Swimming might be a great option too as it's easy on the joints, then again that might cost extra if you don't have access to a pool...
