Wow... it really gives me pause for thought. The earlier research really makes me question so many food myths exist.
The cancer based data from Norway during WWII just floored me!
I'll be watching this with my mom (recently diagnosed with cancer). I think she would be willing to eliminate meat from her diet though I know the milk, eggs and cheese will be harder. They would be the last things I eliminate as well.

Dr. Campbell and Dr, McDougal changed my life.
Over a year ago I was depressed and 220 pounds.
Today I am positive, optimistic, energetic and 160 pounds.
Since nearly eliminating animal products from our diets my husband and I both feel healthier then ever. It was a hard start and I gave up for a short while. The hardest part is dealing with other people.
I highly recommend watching this video and well as reading The China Study.
I know it sounds silly but eating the right diet can do so much more for you then just a slim body.

Yep, I talked about this in the healthy challenge thread awhile ago.
I second the China Study.

Going to see if they have it in the mail dvd. Liked it and bookmarked it on FB.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I watched part of it, it was pretty cool. I'm not completely sold on eliminating animal products but I've felt for a long time that we eat too much of it. We had been planning on eliminating dairy and I was just going to phase it out in order to use up the rest of what we have, but after watching it I think I'm going to go ahead and get rid of it now.

I bought that book, but it stunk. It smelled like deisel fuel for some reason. I couldn't read more than the first few pages because it smelled so bad. I have no idea why a book would stink, but that one sure did.

I'll put it at the top of my must watch list. From the reactions, it seems it'll be very interesting.
