Default NSV story (non scale victory) story, what's yours?

Since my lifestyle change I can see some improvements while I play with the kids.

Yesterday we went to the park and the kids always want to play tag. Well we just don't play plain tag, we play zombie tag. This is where i pretend to be a zombie and run after them to infect them. For some reason I always end up being the first zombie. My oldest daughter has a very high metabolism and is so active. She always manages to exhaust me when we play zombie tag where I have to quit or catch my breath.

Well yesterday she quit playing before I quit playing.

    Hmm lets see..

I no longer have high blood pressure

I can run 3 miles non stop

I have to go shopping soon for the fall because I have no jeans I can wear and donated them all. Darn.

Depression went out the window because exercise is like a miracle drug.

My self esteem is soaring high

Way less insomnia. I just choose to stay up late. lol

I've been slim most all my life, but anxiety/depression got to me the last few years, and I gained weight. I was so conscience that I cut out social things and so much more.

    Less anxiety now

I decided to get a grip on my life in 2011 and thought the month of January would never end. Here it is Sept! Even our finances improved.

    That was my short list.

WTG Gabe!! Hope I understood your post correctly.

I've been walking regularly since we moved here and now my blood pressure is back down from prehypertension to a healthy level.

Btw palooka that's awesome. I can remember when you were struggling with depression and I can tell that your mood is so much better. I'd almost call you happy go lucky now.

    NSV.

Today, I'm walking and my shorts are falling off.
Thank god, I'm the only living soul working on my floor at work!

The lowest notch on the belt is to big. Maybe I can make my own hole in it.

I hate when that happens. Earlier this summer I was running up our stairs, carrying groceries and my jean capris went straight down. LOL Whoopsie. Donated.

Have stopped eating flour and dairy products. Seem to be loosing weight quickly.

So it is back to eating produce and fish/beans/meat. Also have been walking more. Hope the fat jeans I purchased at the thrift store will to big for me soon!

It is easy to make a new hole. Get a board, a hammer, a ruler, and a leather punch or a screw driver (think a philips). And, be very careful when you do it.
