    Default Anyone do BodyFlex exercise?

Anyone do BodyFlex, LifeLift, Oxycise or other deep breathing types of exercise for weight loss? I'm climbing back on the wagon after years of not doing the exercises and would like to find others exercising this way for a support & encouragement thread. These types of exercises feature deep aerobic breath work along with stretches to produce weight loss.

I did try the bodyflex many years ago. I have since lost the program. All that deep breathing sure made me feel peppy.

LOL...it does. Did you lose weight too? I know that after a couple of weeks I was losing weight & inches. I don't know why I stopped!

    Thanks for replying.

Nope no weight loss as I was a size 4 at the time. Hummm now that I'm a 14 maybe. Too bad I lost the program.

I did this several years ago and was happy with it. I was also cutting out white carbs. Between the two, I lost 60 pounds. Of course I quit (why? I don't know) and regained the 60 back plus another 20 after starting some meds.

I have been thinking about starting back, but the motivation just is not there yet. But it should be since I am 80 pounds overweight.

Would really like to start again but need a "Buddy" to keep me in line.

I do not have the original plan but remember a lot of the procedure. I bought a newer version of her plan though. So I need to get it out a review it. Just don't want to do the breathing exercises while my husband is around to hear. (It might cause a conflict when he starts making fun of me. )

When I did it before, we had a dog that was a chow, lab mix. He was kind of "hyper". Well when I would start to do the breathing exercises, he would RUN into the room I was in to see what was wrong. Several times, I thought he was going to attack me.
