I have two different dental plans out of FL. Over the years my dental plans have saved me thousands of dollars on major dental work. You do have to do your homework.
    1. Make sure the dentist you want takes the plan.
    2. Make sure it is a set amount for each procedure and not a % off plan. Those aren't worth it, IMO.
    3. Make sure there are no caps on your plan, which I have never heard of with a dental "plan".

Dental plans are much different than dental insurance and they vary greatly from state to state. Like I said, FL is fantastic for savings on dental plans. Where I am in TN is not. I had two root canals done 3 years ago in NC and it was very very expensive. It would have been cheaper for me to fly to FL, go to my dentist there, and fly back home. I would have done that except that it was winter and I was worried about the weather.

Anyway...check into Dentalplans.com. See if there are any dentists in your area who take the plan. Then call the dentist to verify. The people at Dentalplans.com are also really great to work with and answer questions.

You can get the dental plan, which runs about $15.00 per month depending on the plan, with a 30 day money back guarantee. There is also no cap and no wait period in most cases.

It really is worth your time to check it out. Trust me. My husband and I have had 3 different dental plans over the years and they have saved us thousands.

I checked the dental discount plans in our area and only one office takes them (a "chain" dental office) - looked them up on the web & OMG they got AWFUL reviews!! I would be afraid to go there.
