Oh, McDonald's is a veritable garden of health compared to places like Applebee's or Outback Steakhouse where the salads can be over 1200 calories. A Quarter Pounder with cheese and a large fries is only 1050 cal.

My DS got the stomach flu one spring and lost down to 92 lbs. He's 5' 10" tall. A doctor told him to add 1 Tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to his plate of food at every meal. It would be soothing to his digestive tract and help put the weight back on. It did but I don't remember how long it took; wasn't very long.

ugh...I remember having to gain weight quickly for my twin pregnancy. My OBGYN and my high risk doctor had me on two pediasures a day, encouraged milkshakes and lots of meat. Being forced to gain weight isn't as fun as it seems :/

ETA: full fat dairy products helped. If you are willing to try raw milk, it's super fatty

Yes it can be done. I had to gain 12 lbs in two weeks to be able to zipline. I simply upped my food intake to three meals a day (I usually eat once or maybe twice a day) and ate more at each meals. And I ate snacks.

    Hi Jeccyka,
Yes it is possible to gain 4 kg in 2 weeks, just follow these weight gain tips.
Increase number of meals, calculate your daily caloric intake, eat more fat and start energy fluids. Lift heavy weights, eat carbohydrates around your workout and don't overdo protein. Limit cardio sessions and focus on compound exercises. Allow for enough rest and ensure you are having enough sleep.
