so glad to see this thread again. In her original message, Sara offered the suggestion to post our goal weight to our signature. Can see the wisdom in this and so I shall....need that number before me. How about you?
I'm 5'3", my goal weight is 115.
I'm now 127, I've already lost 11 lbs in the last 12 months, recently reached a plateau.
I'm aiming to lose 5 lbs in the by end of October.
I'm only 5ft, but a medium build so my goal weight is 118lbs.
I started at 132lbs (I've been much heavier in the past so decided to lose weight before it went too far) in March and it has taken me until October to get down to 124lbs - that's 8 months to lose as many lbs(!). I'm hoping to lose the last 6lbs by the beginning of January 2011.
I lose weight very slowly and have, in the past, given up when I've hit a plateau for months. Would just like to say good luck to everyone and to those of you who find it very frustrating, we can stick it out! :hug2:
OK, I'm in - my "perfect" goal weight is around 119. As an adult, I've never been able to get below 130, and I'm about 152 now. :sigh: So, I'm going to shoot for 125, which is still considered a healthy weight for my height; if I reach this goal, I'll re-assess and see if I still want to go for 119.
I started out at 5'6 169 pounds, i'm now at 144, I would like to be at 135 maybe 130.
