It's the NEW YEAR! Are you drinking your water, counting your calories, exercising??

Go get that glass of water
Plan your meals
Plan your exercise for the day
Journal what you eat----if you BITE it, WRITE it...studies have shown that people who lose weight successfully are those that kept a food journal
Cut out that soda, the sweets!

LOL, I walked by the brownies this morning and almost cut a small piece and then I thought, hmmmm is it really worth all those Calories, so I changed my mind. I have my water and my journal and am fully prepared for this new me!!!

I've got a glass of water, and we're cleaning and reorganizing our bedroom. Later I'm going to try out the new set of 8lb weights and the new workout pants dh bought me...

Had half a bagel & tea for breaKfast and have had 3 glasses of water so far. I find myself reading more and more labels and making better choices. Good luck with your choices today!

I am READY! Today is the day that I am really starting. I am somewhat at the mercy of others for my food intake today as we had breakfast at my parents and are having dinner at my fil's, however, I certainly make the ultimate choice what to put in my mouth! And, I'm on my second glass of water, and getting ready for my third! I'll post my eating and water for the day at the end of the day in my online food log! No exercise today, but tomorrow, I'm getting up with dh at 5:15 and doing my healthwalker...NO MORE EXCUSES!!!

I just finished my first glass of water for the day..haven't eaten yet but will continue counting calories carefully at least through thursday...
I will do my 55min. cardio FIRM workout tape..I rested yeserday since on the rotation calender it was my rest day, and this morning now I really can feel muscles tightened up more

So far so good today. Weighed myself so I would have a starting weight for this year and I'm looking for the notebook I bought to make my journal (I have GOT to get myself more organized this year, I can't find anything!) Had some yogurt and a little bit of canned pineapple for breakfast with a glass of water. Had a slice of organic cheese on whole wheat bread with a few pinto beans for lunch and water again. I've also had several small glasses of water today. Just had some mixed nuts for a snack. Don't know how much exercise I'll get in today, it's pouring rain and I wanted to walk outside, oh well, I'll just have to jump on the treadmill for a while.
Sounds like everyone is really feeling positive and doing great today!!!!! Yea Scooby on passing up on those brownies

I just got back from the gym - I did 50 minutes of cardio!
Now we're headed out to a soup and salad restaurant, but I think I can make some good choices there.

I did o.k today but tomorrow I think I will start my food journal.
I think that will help a lot !!!
No exercise today.
But tomorrow for sure !!!!!!!

I honestly don't have time time keep a food journal, but I am definitely thinking more about what I eat. Water is already my preferred beverage so that's not a problem and I got a lot of good exercise today.... played in the yard with the dogs for a while and got in a lot of walking around the neighborhood.

So far so good today. Except the French Fries I had at supper.
(They forced me to eat them!
)
Really the only carbs I had today was the fries. Tomorrow will be better.
I have almost saturated my body with water today. Done good with that

water is right here. did learn a good lesson though. if i buy soda *did yesterday* i go past water to get to soda,so no more of that. so i am doing water water and more water today, did get some exercise had to walk today. i am not doing too bad
