Unhappy Still struggling with water consumption

I had 2 glasses of water today with all the running around I had to do and if I drink many tonight, I'll be going to the bathroom all night.

No matter how hard I try, I can't get the water into me. If I could keep it cold and near me all day, it might work, but it warms up so quickly and then I just don't get anymore.

    UGH!!

Have you tried freezing half a bottle's worth of water the night before and then adding water to fill it in the morning and take them with you for all day? I used to do this when I was super busy and the water stayed cold for HOURS and because I took it with me everywhere, it really increased my consumption alot!

Theresa, that's exactly what dh does at work. I will lay the bottle at an angle so the water gets cold faster. He uses a 24 oz. bottle and fills it up at the water cooler several times a day. We also drink only water at meals.

CJ, another thing to think about is getting a Styrofoam cup. Chick-Fil-A (restaurant) uses styro cups and they keep things cold a LONG TIME. I will fill my cup (probably 32 oz.) up with ice and add water and drink all day long. I am having no problem with the 64 oz. Dr. Atkins' program recommends. Hope that helps.

I do the same thing when I go places. We used to do it at work all the time. Definitely lay it almost completely on its side (just up enough so it wont' spill) and freeze. then just fill with plain cold water in the morning. sip on it all day until it is empty and ta dah! You have drank (bottle size) amount of water.
