It's not a panic, but a struggle...
I REALLY have trouble with chocolate and desserts, when I am around them....
Everytime I work at the bread outlet, I am soooooo tempted!!!
I ate a chocolate chip with lots of chocolate, yesterday. I ate two, today, and a sugar fudge...HELP!!!!!!!!!!
I just LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!! TOO MUCH...I almost tremble when I see some...UGH!!!

I'm the same way. Don't beat yourself up too much about it...we've all been there!!
Just like the other ladies mentioned if you need it (and we all do)
just have smaller portions. If you deny yourself of it you will just eat more and more. Hang in there!!

Oh, thank-you Heather and Daphne!
I guess I am not alone to have weeknesses with certains foods...
So far I haven't *pigged out* on chocolate, but I ate a little...I guess a little to satisfy my craving is better than not having any and than falling in it!
Oh, well....

Really, Robin? You now, never eat chocolate? Tell me about it. How did you do it? Do you still find it hard? I know I have a real problem with chocolate...I am addicted. I had stopped for 2 years eating chocolate, that was 4 years ago. I never had the craving after. At first it was very hard but eventually after 6 mos. I hardly thought about it. Then one day, I thougth to myself...I should eat chocolate sometimes, like others. Why am I being so drastic? (I had been at WW and lost 85 lbs.) AND I ate a chocolate bar one day with friends....well, that was the end of that.
I began eating more and more...and then I ate more and more anything sweet and chocolate and slowly gained the lbs. back...
Sad...isn't it...I am so mad at myself for this!
I know, now, I have to quit for good. I am addicted to chocolate...It's a drug for me!
Oh well....so how did you do it Robin? Tell me....

My struggle was with dr pepper or pepsi.
I could drink (and often did!) a 2 liter a day!
No I may have a sip or 2 if we go out to eat and the palce uses tap water for tea (tap water in town is just horrid!) but other than that i drink water.
Chocolate is only a problem on rare occassions, but when the urge hits, it is almost impossible to control!

The first thing diod was make an agreement (with myself only) that I would not eat candy. This did leave me open however for desserts like cakes and brownies and stuf like that. Then I decided I was tired of FEELING fat. I went to bed one night and I felt so big laying on my bed that I decided the next day that I was going to take control of myself and do something about it. There were 2 problem areas...1. chocolate, even tho I had stopped eating candy, I still ate too much other stuff. 2. I was eating too late at night. With a screwed up scheduie like mine, I usually eat when I come home from class at night.
I started the Atkins diet and it does not allow for sugar. I just threw away all the sweet stuff I could be tempted with and went on that partiucular diet. When I read all that that diet promised I was sceptical. After a few days of really sticking to the diet I hac=ve found that I feel so good on it. Even better than eating chocolate offered me. I am an emotional eater and chocolate had been my release. I just want to be different thatn I am now I guess. It is not so much willpower, as it is I have found somerthing that makes me feel better than eating chocolate, or any food in particular for that matter.
Hope that helps you!!!
