The Scale is not budging!
I am doing EVERYTHING right! I am eating well, drinking water, exercising....I had major stress with my mother and still didn't eat to keep my sanity (as I usually do) and I am UP a pound this week....grrrrrr. Why is it so hard for me? Am I destined to be a little porker forever? ??????? I am so frustrated!

You might be gaining muscle, which is heavier than fat. Do your clothes still fit the same? Have you been measuring your problem areas?

My scale is budging in the wrong direction as well.
Could have to do with my binge eating the last few days..
*waits for my sis to have baby so I can kick her in the butt for buying and leaving junk food at my house*....

Theresa, maybe you have the same problem I have right now? (time of the month coming up?)
Also, like someone mentioned it could be the muscle weight

Hang in there...I think it may be muscle weight also. It will move in the other direction - Just keep doing all the great things you have been doing!!

Theresa, when I've done everything right and the scales are up, I just tell myself they are LYING!!! For whatever reason, TOM, muscle gain, too much sodium the night before, whatever. It couldn't possibly be a pound of fat, that takes an extra 3500 calories. Keep on keeping on and the number will come down. Good luck!

Oh sweetie I know how ya feel,my numbers haven't moved in like a month.I kept blaming it on stress then on aunt flo, well there both gone and the weights still here. It'll come off,the main thing isn't the actual weight its concentrating on size, are your clothes looser,I agree it could be muscle.

I've also heard that after your weight has been the same for a period of time(can't remember how long), your body fights to stay at that point. I'm not sure why I'm trying to expalin this as I don't really know what I am talking about,
, but if you keep up with the exercise and calorie control, your body will eventually cooperate. Then, you'll most likely stay there for a period of time until your body adjusts and stops trying to maintain status. Does this make any sense to anybody?
