Default How much water am I supposed to be drinking per day?

I once heard it was 8, 8 oz glasses. Is that the recommendation?

I have heard that is the min. the optimum is half your wt. in oz of water. Like if you weigh 100lbs you drink 50oz. of water a day.

That is to help wt. loss.

It all depends on you the recomended amount is 8 8ox glasses a day for anyone, but if you want ot loose weight I would drink more.My bil is a body builder and has to loose weight for a competition and currently drinks a gallon a day.I drink anywhere from 12-14 8oz glasses a day.

My dr. told my the 1/2 ounce for each pound of body weight too. That's what I try to stick to and it's helped me lose several pounds.
