    Default calculate your calorie intake to lose weight

    Step 1. Take your idealweight (lb) Multiply by 4.35
    Step 2. Take the result of Step 1 Add 655
    Step 3. Take your height (in) Multiply by 4.32
    Step 4. Take your age Multiply by 4.7
    Step 5. Take the result of Step 3 Subtract the result of Step 4
    Step 6. Take the result of Step 2 Add the result of Step 5

    This is how many calories you can have dailyand still be losing weight

    sounds right except if your ideal weight is too low kwim? karlisangel...1400 seems good for you imo. Mine worked out to be 1500 and I know that's safe and healthy for me, BUT I need to add a bit more because I am bfing.

    i should addd a little more too then, since i am breastfeeding too! i put my ideal weight as 110. is that too low? that is my goal. what do you think?

    Mine is 1286.8. My ideal weight is about 3 pounds less than I think I am right now (i'm guessing i'm at 112 but my scale broke a while back)

    i am about 5' 3". i just want to be "close" to my pre-pregnancy (even before #1) weight (105 lbs.)......i figured 110 is close enough.
