    Red face My Duh moment

Ok, so I've been trying to cut out as much partially hydrogenated oils as I could...reading labels on bread..limiting packaged snacks...going over to all natural peanut butter...

But I was always buying that margarine stuff because it was free and easier to spread ...

It didn't dawn on me till a few days ago that the margarine I'm always using has partially hydrogenated oils in it too!!
And then I read about how margarine is one molecule away from being plastic...and how if it's left out, not even fly's will go near it So I tossed out a couple packs of free margarine I had jsut gotten...hey at least it was free

And butter really does taste better I have to admit....it's creamier too!

Ive gotten where I hate margarine. This comes from my time on Adkins. Margarine is like a big blob of grease.

Leave your butter out on the counter in a covered butter dish, I do, but it doesnt last too long here.

According to the dietician in my high cholesterol class (yeah me) when they hydrogenate oils, they add fat. They are taking something that is liquid at room temperature and making it solid. Crisco is a fine example. The lower the words "partially hydrogenated" appear on the label the better it is for you.
