Default LFL weigh in 12-8 through 12-14

I've lost five pounds since my last weigh in and I'm really happy over this loss. I thought for sure I'd see a gain with Thanksgiving.

My mom is coming to visit again soon and I am really motivated to lose before she visits again. I want to so badly to wear some cute summer dresses this year and that's encouraging me a lot too.

I'm excited that I have to make more weightloss heart milestones. rofl I never thought I'd gain as much as I did with my pregnancy and certainly never thought I'd lose this much. It's a slow process, but I just keep reminding myself that it took me a long time to gain it all and it will take awhile to lose it.

Wow - look at that number increase!! That's one increase I wouldn't mind seeing!

I'm ashamed to report that I did gain over Thanksgiving - 3 lbs - thankfully, it wasn't enough "gain" to have to bump my heart down one. I think I would've lopped my foot off or something before I'd accept a gain that would force me to change hearts! (desperate times call for desperate measures!)

I'm refocused & ready to lose what I've managed to gain...I'm going to start walking every single night regardless of schedules...I will not come back here & report another gain!

Cross your fingers, toes, and eyes...here I go!!

Well, I never really had an official weigh in, but since I have been going to Curves, my last weigh in was a few days after Thanksgiving, and I had lost a pound. I guess you have to start somewhere. Seems as I have been losing inches all over, but the pounds won't come off. I get so frustrated sometimes. But I guess if the inches are leaving, the pounds will in time too. I really wanted to lose some of the pounds before my dh's Army Ball in Feb. I will keep chugging, but sometimes I wish that I had a magic wand to wave and I could be the size that I want. Weightloss is not easy for me at all. I was doing Michael Thurman's six week body makeover last year, and even though I did not cheat I only lost 20lbs. And, I don't know if anyone has done this diet, but it is pretty strict. Oh, well.

baronmom, don't focus on seeing pounds go away, the inches being lost is a GREAT indicator of your hard work Muscle takes up much less space than fat per pound, so you might just be gaining the same amount of muscle as you are losing fat.

I'm sad to report that I've gained about an inch in my waist. I'm trying to battle all the goodies I see, but I just cave in to most of it, and I keep thinking that I can work it all off in januray

I am also getting less motivated with my exercise, it's more of a struggle to start than it used to be.

baronmom~a magic wand would be wonderful! Could I borrow it! You are doing great with the inches coming off!

Heather~I have no doubt you are going to lose that inch! You inspire us all with your energy and your determination with exercising!

Great job Sara, your doing great!! Keep it up.

Today was the first day back on track for me. I'm going to start focusing on me rather than on all of the stress around me. I'll weigh in at the end of the week.
