Do you own a scale?
My digital scale must be broken. I weighed myself numerous times yesterday, and the readings were different each time.
I'm looking for a new one...do you have any recommendations?

If you weigh yourself at different times during the day you will get a different weight each time. Food and water will affect it. What I do is to weigh myself at the same time each day, when I get up in the morning, to get a good comparison.

guess I should have been more clear in my post. I weighed myself like 12 times all within 2 minutes--not throughout the day LOL...sorry for the confusion.
When I first weighed myself, the scale read 134 (which would have been phenomenal to me!), but I knew that it had to be wrong. Soooo...I weighed myself again, and it jumped to 146...and then to 142...and then to 147....
*sigh* losing weight is hard enough without all these complications!

You can have mine!!!! I have a Health-O Meter, got it from Wal Mart. It's a regular scale (not digital), and when I step off of it, it doesn't always go back to zero, it will stop at 3 or 4 lbs, so if I reweigh myself, it always reads 3 or 4 lbs more than the first time, so I'm always playing with the knobby thing to reset it. I wonder if your digital one is doing the same thing??? Good luck in your search!!

I got a cheapo digital at Bradlees when they were going out of business and so far so good--it seems to run 4lbs more than my dr's scale.

Now that I think about it there have been times when I weigh myself, do #2, then weigh again and get a higher number the second time. That doesn't make sense!

I don't own one
and I think I never will
The reason why is that my in laws have one and when i stayed with them for a week I became so obsessed...so I decided that I'll never have one..i'll just go by how my clothes fit me...if they are tighter ..it time to cut down on snacks...if they fit me well...am ok

to figure out how accurate your scale is buy a 5lb bag of sugar and weigh it. So long as the bag hasn't been opened it should come up the same every time..if it comes up with say a 3 lb difference then you know to subtract or add 3lbs...

No scale in this house. They would have to send one that they weigh animals with, like cows because a regular bathroom scale wouldn't be able to hold all this.
