A co-worker I work with goes to Curves. She likes it because you can get a full 30 minute workout.

Here is a link to their website just in case you don't have it. It gives you some info about them.

I was a member at Curves last year. I liked it in the beginning, but I got bored with doing the same machines all the time, in the same order. Curves is set up in a circle, you spend 30 seconds on a machine, then move to the cardio square and jog in place, jump, anything to keep your heartrate up, then move on to the next machine.

I paid a year in full at the beginning of my contract, and I think it was around $450, I think the montly fee was $39. I'm pretty sure they have a free pass where you can try it out for a week before deciding to join.

    Hope that helps a little!

I go and I love it. I think it has a lot to do with where you go and the people that are there. It is quick, easy, and you don't have to kill yourself. All the machines are hydrolically controlled, so you don't have to deal with changing the weights. I paid a one time fee at the beginning of $50, and then I pay $29.00 a month. The price all depends where you live.

I only wish that I could go more than I do. With dh not being here, I only get to go two times a week. I have lost inches every month though. I have been going since June of last year.

I go to curves too, and I really like it!!!! ....I paid 75.00 to join and 29.00 a month and I got 2 months free.....I like it because it is all women and most of them are my age, the music is at a pace with the workout and isn't loud or abrasive ....when I was going to our local gym, it was full of teens and twentysomethings trying to pick each other up, plus the music was loud and annoying
