Thumbs up How To Restore your Energy and......

"How To Restore your Energy and begin getting your fuel from a healthier source."

    1. Get Tested. If you physically feel that you can?t slow down, then you might need medical attention to see if your adrenal system is healthy. Until you are in balance, physically, relaxation and meditation techniques will not help.

2.Schedule some ?Down Time?. It?s important to schedule relaxation breaks during the day in order to practice being still.

3.Change Your Work Habits. Challenge Yourself to cut back to checking voicemail and email at scheduled intervals. Sort your desk and work on one thing at a time. Set clear boundaries about when messages will be returned and stick to them

    4. Breathe Deeply. When you are running on adrenaline, there is a tendency toward shallow breathing. Quick short breaths rob our body of much needed oxygen. This contributes to things like cold hand, high blood pressure and anxiety. Practice deep breathing while driving or during break periods. Over time, you will improve he health of your whole nervous system

    5. Take a good multi-vitamin to support your body?s immune system.

    6. Give Up Caffeine. Ouch. You will be amazed how much energy you have after kicking the habit. Your morning coffee wears down your adrenal system over time and actually robs you of energy. Ditto for sugar and junk food. (Oh No! )

    7. Get Regular Exercise. A brisk walk is one of the best things to do to reduce stress and restore health to your adrenal system. (My Personal Favorite)

This is Rex Barker, C.S. (Climbing Stairs) suggesting that when you link exercise to reducing stress instead of weight loss, you will stick with it and want to move to work off excess energy when you feel anxious. On that note, I?m off to the Park to enjoy the beautiful weather.
