For those of you who color your own hair, what brand do you use?

I just bought Hydrience to do on my hair...I hope I like it. I've tried Herbal Essences and Natural Instincts as well.

I like Open, by Loreal and I can usually find a coupon for it too.
I have also tried the ones previously stated.

Clairol is my all time fave--the green box-actually the cheapest out there, I have used it since college. I had a really bad reaction to one of the new fruit based formulas, can't think of the name to save my life right now, but it felt like my scalp was burning and the next day I had little pimples around my hairline.

I really like Open by L'Oreal too!! I got a free sample from the L'Oreal site many months ago and it really worked well for me

I use what ever is on sale! LOL. Hydrience was just on sale for 1/2 off. So it was $3.49, and I had $2 off coupons. So I bought a bunch of them.

But if I really had to choose, Revlon and Feria are great. I have big hands, and they have good gloves, too! lol the "cheaper" brands have those "cheaper" gloves that by the time I am done with my hair, inbetween my fingers are colored too!
