    Default facial cleaners

What brand do you use? I use Neutrogena Deep Clean and use Aveeno moisturizer. Someone once told me I should use the same brand for everything. Do you agree?

I don't think it matters but then again my beauty regiment isn't fancy. Dove soap and Nivea Q10 for a moisturizer. I used to use whatever lotion was in the house for face&body. Told ya I wasn't fancy.

I use St. Ives facial wash and elastin - collagen moisturizer. Not b/c they are the same brand, it's just what I like, at the moment.

Someone else has told me that St. Ives was a good brand to use. I don't feel like mine is working well. Maybe I might need to switch.

I use Noxema to wash and am finishing up the last of the Clinique moisturizer samples I got as part of a gift at Christmas.
I do have some Burt's Bees moisturizer to use after Clinique is gone. Has anyone used Burt's products before?

I have rosacea and have to be real careful what I use. I only use a cleanser at night. In the morning I just rinse with water. I use Avons cleanser (comes in an orange tube) but I can't remember the name. It's very gentle. At night I use Avon Clinical moisturizer and in the morning Avon Renew moisturizer in the Gold container. Sorry I don't know the names better. My skin is very dry and it takes a lot of moisturizer for me but it has to be a gentle one.

Why would it matter if they were the same brand? I think you need to use what you like and works for you.

Just plain old Dove Soap here. I use a little store brand Olay sometimes in the winter.

I use Oil of Olay sensitive skin formula everything~ not because I think it all has to be the same brand, but because that particular brand doesn't irritate my skin. I use their daily facials (right now I'm using the waterless kind and I like them), the toner, and the moisturizer.

I've used the St Ive's stuff before and liked it, too, especially the wonderful peach skin scrub stuff~~ but my skin does better with the Oil of Olay products.

I have very sensitive skin, so when I want to deep clean and exfoliate I have found the best thing to use is......

    Baking Soda!

It doesn't tear the skin, and does a great job!
I also use a soft facial brush to wash it in with and my face feels so smooth afterwards.
You can even make a paste with a small amout of water and make a facial out of it (avoid the eyes) leave on for a few minutes, its not neccessary to leave on for 15 - 30 min. like some facials to see results.
    This is quick and effective!
Also great in the bath tub for a full body scrub!
Do your legs after you shave!
You will use it everytime, they will feel so silky!!!
    Also great on the heels!

It is better than any foot cream I have ever bought!!

Warning : the first time you use it, especially if you have sensitive skin, like I do, it may feel like it is burning ... but believe me its not.
Its just the salt in the baking soda.
I am very sensitive and I only felt it the first time.
