Cosmetic surgery?
Has anyone here had cosmetic surgery? If not, if you could would you?
I sometimes toy with the thought of having the fat sucked out of my butt. *LOL* I wouldn't ever, but I often think about it.

I have reallly been giving it a lot of thought lately. I want breast implants , after breastfeeding it has enlightened me how good breast implants would be....
I also have always wanted a pointier chin, not v pointed but a chin like all the models have you know? I don't even have a chin really, it's just flat! I have a square shaped face pretty much
I have also wanted nose surgery and jaw surgery. I hate my nose it sticks out way to far and my jaw is set so far in..i HATE my profile soo much that if i think about it i'll stick my jaw out farther on purpose if i see someone cute standing to the side of me
But it's not soemthing i can keep doing without forgetting you know?

I have let it cross my mind. But like the laser eye sugery I don't want it enough to risk the potential side effects or risks.
I guess I am not willing to risk my current good health(knock on wood) for potential better looks.

No way! I'll take what I was given and go with it.

If I had the money I think I would do it. I have had a couple of c-sections and would LOVE to have a tummy tuck. I also would have lasic surgery. I'm not sure I would have anything done to my face. I don't think I am that brave.

I had some skin graphting (sp) done during an orthopedic surgery years ago, so that the scarring wouldn't be quite so horrid. It was suggested I get more done shortly after, but honestly a scarred ankle has always been the least of my issues. After 12 orthopedic surgeries, I don't think I would go through surgery for something that is not a nesessary thing.

Aylasmommy, 2 years ago I had jaw surgery. Not by choice either. I had TMJ so bad, I had lost so much movement that all I could "eat" for meals was liquids. I am glad I had the surgery( it was a 4 1/2 hour operation ) but it I sure wouldn't want to go through that again.

Ooh I'm so sorry megareader! One of the girls in my drama group got TMJ and it looked painful even AFTER the surgery

I also have a relative who had a really bad underbite and my uncle paid for her surgery...she did lose a lot of weight because of all the surgery and other things that went with it, but her face looks great now..but ahhhhhghhghh the way she described the procedure sounded terrrrible. I guess they had to break her jaw first...ouch!

What they did on mine was to unhook the upper from the lower jaw and pull the discs back into place. The incisions are right beside my ears, to do that they also had to cut into my hair. I sure wasn't a happy camper when I saw my new "do!" It grew back in though, thank goodness.

I actually had a breast reduction a few years ago. I was self conscious about myself although I wasn't as big as most people would picture needing a breast reduction (38-D), however it probably caused the back problems I have had since age 18 or so. I definitely did not have fun and unfortunately one breast did not heal nicely so I have large scars on my right breast that used to make me very self conscious in my relationships. However, I did love the first time I wore my pajamas in "public" (with family) without a bra and the first time I could run downstairs without holding my boobs! Looking back I am glad I did it, but I will be having children in the next few years and fear I will gain it all back in the breast area, leaving me with the same size, or bigger
boobs AND the scars!

I never did and I never will

Am happy for what I have and I think I can live with my inperfections
specially if they are not affecting my health.

I had LASIC surgery three years ago after wearing glasses or
contacts for over 20 years. Although it was expensive, I would
do it again.
