me, its the only one that works for me. I'm pretty good right now, and lost back the 5 lbs I regained a couple months back when we were visiting family.

    working on more now.

go to Menu mailer and pick out the one week menu plan with the low carb option.

Her recipes are good, and the food is anything but boring. Here's what I wrote in the August menu plan thread.

Mine started 2 weeks ago this friday and was:

Day 1: Chicken with a Ginger Cream Sauce
    Day 2: Marinated Tri Tip
    Day 3: Really Garlicky Salmon
    Day 4: Grilled Greek-style Turkey
    Day 5: Shrimp Scampi
Day 6: Crock pot Savory Pork Stew

Day 1 Orange Mustard Glazed Turkey
Day 2 Grilled Fish on Cilantro Chili Slaw
Day 3 RECIPE RAVE: Cube Steaks with Bleu Cheese
    Day 4 Pork Piccata
    Day 5 Grilled Balsamic Steak
    Day 6 Crockpot Tarragon Chicken

I've been getting the menu mailer from Leanne Ely, the low carb one, so that we all stay on the diet, and we've all lost weight, it's working.

Lunches are leftovers from the night before.

Sides are cooked and raw veggies in abundance.

snacks are largely nuts or cheese or yogurt.

Breakfasts are my frozen quiche squares, yogurt, bacon and eggs, cottage cheese or egg salad mostly.

I do a 2 week payday cycle. I buy the fixings for the above and make on the nights I feel like it.

There are some really good meals in there and at least it's keeping the flavour quotient up.

I really hate dieting where I can't cook and enjoy new recipes. This alleviates that boredom.

I've done my own menus for so many years, and it's nice to have someone else's ideas. Like eating in someone elses kitchen.

A new 6 day plan plus shopping list and recipes lands in my email every Tuesday.

I won't have the next cycle's second week till Tuesday but this is what's on the list for the first week of the next cycle.

Day 1 Spicy Lemon Orange Chicken
    Day 2 Steak Diane
Day 3 RECIPE RAVE: Really Garlicky White Fish
Day 4 Lemon Tarragon Pork Chops
Day 5 Warm Spinach Salad with Turkey
Day 6 Crock Pot Taco Meat

Her Recipe Raves are recipes that generate exceptional feedback people wanting those repeated. She varies the new stuff with the recipe raves.

Unfortunately I can't copy any of the recipes out, due to copyright, but she has a 1 week plan on her site http://www.savingdinner.com/menumailer.html
with one low carb and one regular weeks worth plus shopping list and recipes up and posted to try if anybody is interested.

    Hi....
I'm new here and at this point have just been a lurker until I am not so overwhelmed with the site But I thought I would de-lurk here because I've been low-carbing for quite awhile now and have lost 60 pounds......I LOVE low-carb!!! I have been very strict with it but I find I can stick with it so I will be doing low-carb as a Way of Life from now on!! It has made such a huge difference in my life!!!

it's not too bad if you occasionally let yourself have a treat! i also use the carb blocker supplements every once in a while...if i really can't resist something! they seem to work, but make sure you have a clear path to the bathroom the next day!!! LOL!!!! it's not so bad!
