    Default Had a biopsy today (update)

    Well I had my breast biopsy today. Now I have to wait until Tuesday, Nov. 16 for the results. The procedure really wasn't too bad. I hate the waiting. This has been going on for a month now, since my mammogram. I will be glad to find out if everything is OK, or not....

    Edited 11/16 to add: No cancer! Yipee! it was benign.

    Praying for you Deb. May I ask did you have a needle biopsy or a core biopsy? I heard the neelde really hurts but is better? than the core.

    I guess it was a needle biopsy. The pieces they took out looked pretty big to me, though. I could not really see what they were doing. Not much pain, though. They give you a local anesthetic. I am waiting for the results now. I should get a call today or tomorrow. I am on pins and needles here.
