    Default hair pampering!!

I have extremely thick , dry , curly hair  that I process the heck out of just to straighten it  abit and lighten it alot!

Today I did a VO5 hot oil treatment, then 1 cup of mayonnaise, Biolage Shampoo and conditioner and then a cold water vinegar rinse. It is soft as a bunny and my pick went right through it!! Its drying in nice loose ringlets instead of the normal tumbleweed it likes to fluff in too!!

Hee hee!! I have real hair for once !!

How would you use the olive oil? I have some .... it's less expensive than the V05 treatments.

Will it wash out easily? If not, is there something that should be added to it?

you can't use much more than about a tablespoon - well it depends on the length and thickness of your hair - like shampoo - you thoroughly rub it in from roots to ends then stack it and wrap it in plastic - a bag or saran wrap - you want it snug - you can either heat with a blow dryer for about ten minutes or let the natural heat of your scalp - tighter plastic- work for thirty minutes - then you shampoo as normal - sometimes twice. I always condition as well. Cold water rinses make your hair shiny and ensure that the last bit of shampoo is out.

Thanks! I bought some VO5 hot oil treatments at Big Lots ... and DD used them up. Went back to Big Lots a couple weeks ago ... none left.

So I'll give that olive oil treatment a try one of these days.
