Very interesting Kim.

Canada just this past week passed a law that all trans fats must be reduced to the lowest possible level in ALL food within one year here in Canada. The only other country that has such a law is Holland.

Here is a quote from the Vancouver Sun.

Canada launches bid to ban trans fats
OTTAWA -- Members of Parliament voted Tuesday to set Canada on a path to banning artificial trans fats despite charges such action would be heavy-handed and "assault the entire food industry" by taking on such favourite foods as store-bought doughnuts and even home-baked goods.
