I can't stress this enough to you in pain!!!
I have been limping around for the past four days - My arthritis in my knees has been so bad due to the cold and stress and eight million trips up and down the stairs. Yesterday while I was seeing my mom - Kip - my Doctor brother looked at my knee and said yep, its swollen and has limited flexibility in some cpulol blahblah thing and he didn't know what to do but put ice on it - well on the way home Bruce and I stopped at the natural supplement store and got me some more Glucosamine and chondroitin and I took it last night (I hate taking it cuz the pills are huge horsee pills). all day today I have been running up and down the stairs and thinking to myself - wow my knee barely hurts today - I wonder why its better - and I was thinking maybe Kip tweeked it when he was moving it around or something - just a minute ago I saw the Glucosamine on the counter and remembered that I had taken it last night - Now I KNOW why my knee is feeling so much better - I am begging I will even challenge those of you with any kind of joint pain whatso ever to try it just for a few days - IT IS AMAZING STUFF!! it requires no prescription - its completely natural - no surgeries!! My older brother swears by it - he had his veterinarian wife inject a horse dose into his knees nine years ago and has never had any pain since!! And these were old football injuries in his knees!!!
PLEASE PLEASE TRY IT!!! Just Three days!! and see....

I'm gonna have to get some for Matthew. He has arthritis in his knees that really bothers him now at 26, I can only imagine how it will get worse as he ages. Where exactly can I go look for this at?

Kimmie is right! This is what I suggested to my mom for her osteoarthritis in her knee and hip. Within two weeks, she was like a new person. No drugs whatsoever.
She swears by the stuff. My mom buys hers from www.vitacost.com and she gets the NSI brand. It also has the MSM in it, which is an added plus!

I use emu oil for arthritis in my ankle and it's the best thing I've ever tried. No pain at all since I started using it, it's completly natural and the good side effect is that it's omega 3, 6 and 9 oils which are very good for you and keep cholesterol and tryglyceride down.
Kimmee, my friend uses glucosamine and she also says it's excellent. It's great you got relief without relying on drugs.
mark up one more to the good side!

Okay ladies, I'm interested because I have to take a arthritis pill (perscription) twice a day to even be able to move.
Are those things considered herbal remedies?~~ Dee ~~

They are called Dietary Supplements - you can get them at Walmart, walgreens, kroger - Just about anywhere - Mine is 400 mg Chondroitin and 500 mg Glucosamine ( mine is actually by Schiff and is called Pain Free) I think they are all pretty similar - 2 a day Horse pills!!

Okay, stupid question here.....Does the pill contain Glucosamine and Condroitan(sp)? or are they two different pills.

There is no conclusive evidence - nobody has done very much with Glucosamine cuz It was considered an Equine drug and then swallowed up by the holistic people - it is clean and natural - it is naturally found in the human body but it depletes with age. I would guess that it is the same as taking your meds when you were younger but I am no specialists and Doctors refuse to make a statement about it - I would try looking online at any holistic medicine specialists...

Thank you Kimmee. I went today for a stress test and xrays today. So it looks like I have arthritis is both my legs from the knees down. For weeks I have been barely able to walk. The doc gave me pills and I am not going to take them. But I will get some of the ones you take and give it a try. Thank You

I am trying to get my mom to take it for her osteoarthritis. She is going to check with her pharmacist to see if it will cause any reactions with her other meds.

I know that emu oil is ok to take with anything and I'm fairly sure the same is true for glucosamine.
