    Question SAD and natural spectrum lighting

    Does anybody use natural spectrum lamps to combat SAD (winter blues) ? I've seen floor lamps advertised in magazines, I think, but I'm wondering if they actually work. I think our family needs something! Thanks in advance.

    Carolyn, can I ask what type of light that you have? Is it a box or lamp and when you say pricey, can you give me an idea of what to expect to pay? Thanks so much for your reply.

    We don't have one but my ddil suffers from this during the winter months so I've purchased one for her for Christmas. I'm soooo happy to hear from Carolyn that they really help.

    so are there more SAD tips. My mom suffers from it very badly. I know the lamp could help but I'm not sure it's going to be enough. She looks outside and that can set her off into a mood.
