Do you use videos? Which ones?
What are your favorite workout videos?
I have quite a few, but my favorites are the Quck Fix series, Windsor Pilates and The Firm (ouch!!!).

I have a few old standards - I just ( this evening) moved a tv and vcr into my weight room so I will be starting them again- I know its supposedly "bad" for you but Cindy Crawfords Video kicks my butt and knocks off pounds faster than anything else I have tried. And I like my Taebo tapes cuz you don't have to be an ex Pommee for either of them. where is the smiley that gets tangled up doing aerobics like a cheerleader??

I like Tony Little's exercise videos. When he first came out, I was probably 15. (I think) I was still at home anyway. My mom had bought a 3 pack of his videos and we all enjoyed doing them and they helped my mom really get in shape!! So I found the same videos on ebay the other day and purchased them. I also bought a video of Judi Sheppard Jazzercise from the '80's. I remember going to aerobics class with my mom. We did Jazzercise and got to wear the leotards. I just remember it being fun!!! Well, I found it too on ebay. I'm really excited about getting these. A lot of these videos that are out now, I have a hard time doing just because of the dance etc.

Well, when I do the Firm videos, I don't look exactly like they do!!! My arms are going in opposite directions and sometimes I'm tripping over my feet--but I'm moving and working up a sweat!

I just tried my first WATP video after Michelle recommended them-- it's a great workout! I really liked it & hope to be able to keep up with the entire video soon, LOL. Originally posted by Michelle
WATP (Walk Away The Pounds) are the ones I have and love...if I can just get my butt upstairs to use them.

I also have an old Richard Simmons' video-- Sweatin' to the Oldies-- I actually like it, but, I don't have the room to dance all around with DD underfoot.

Jayne, the watp (walk away the pounds) videos are by Leslie Sansone.

I just found this thread. I'm considering buying a new exercise video or two.
Which watp tapes do you all recommend -- there are several.
I've thought about getting one by Richard Simmons.
I need something that won't bore me and doesn't require a lot of coordination on my part. I need your recommendations!
THANKS!~~Jean~~

I am a Tae-bo nut! I haven't been able to do it for a while because of my surgery but I hope to start back soon as I am fully recovered!

Thanks for your responses!
I found the WATP 1 mile tape at WalMart for $5.96 so I got it. If it is raining this evening, I will try this out! If all goes well, I'll get the 2 mile tape too.
I'm guessing the Denise Austin yoga tape is fairly "low impact" -- is that right Michelle? My older body needs a littler easier workout these days --- although I used to be a HUGE fan of dance aerobics.~~Jean~~

Let's see, my two favorites are Tae Bo and Slim in 6. I rotate. I do the slim in 6 for the 6 week series and then I do Tae Bo for 6 weeks and so on. I stopped for about a month and really see a difference. I started back up yesterday and man does that soreness feel great!
