    Default Realized something very interesting

Okay, so, I've been wearing my pedometer and I've realized that throughout the week, while at work, I walk anywhere between 6,000 and 8,000 steps a day. I figured that the weekends would be around 10,000 because I'm up the stairs, down the stairs, doing laundry, sweeping, cleaning, playing with the kids, etc.

Yeah, well...today was a pretty typical Saturday for me with regards to the amount of movement I was doing, and I just checked the pedometer (it's 8:56 pm) and I logged in 1,900 steps. That's it!!! That doesn't count the 10 minutes I rode the stationary bike, but believe me, that didn't add 9,000 steps! I'm so disappointed!

It does, however, help me to realize that I need to step it up on the weekends a bit more! (Pardon the pun!)

Very interesting. I would think being active at home you'd have a lot more steps than that. I really need to get my pedometer out and see how many I'm doing.

Let's "step" it up a notch!!
